Ned is a fantastic moving little horse with great elevated paces and a natural outline. He has excellent dressage bloodlines with his sire, Holme Grove Prokofiev having an excellent track record in adv medium test and at his stallion grading it was commented that he had a considerable talent for jumping. His Dam is out of Holmepark Krug who was a Prix St George horse. He is working well on the flat, being brought on slowly so is really a blank canvas for someone to work with and bring out his full potential. On his first outing competing at a dressage competition he scored 65% in his prelim 12 test.
He has a huge ability over a fence although hasn’t done much with a rider on but has loose jumped over 1mtr20 with ease.
Has been to local hunter trials which he dealt with better than we thought he would, making it round the course having not really seen cross country jumps.
He is a lovely horse to deal with on the ground and gets on with everything he is put in the field with. He has a lovely kind nature and loves attention and food. Happy to be stabled or turned out. Loads into a trailer or lorry. Comes to call. Fine with farrier and dentist. Snaffle mouthed. Fully vaccinated.
Ned is looking for someone to bring him on and help him reach his full potential. It is a very reluctant sale but I just don’t have the time to give him and is totally wasted. He is very low mileage through no fault of his own, he can be left for a year and is fine for you to get on. He’s just too good to be a babysitter for our young highland, which he is quite happy to be!
This is an opportunity to purchase a horse that has the trainability and paces to go all the way in the dressage arena and the character to be your best friend.
He is not suitable for a novice rider, ideally somebody who knows the quirky sides of Trekehner’s or sports horses. Never nasty just sometimes needs putting in his place.
